Pendleton Woolen Mills is an iconic brand with a tradition of American craftsmanship started by one family over 100 years ago. Still family owned and operated and headquartered in Portland, Oregon, Pendleton designs and manufactures blankets, clothing and accessories distributed and proudly owned throughout the world.

Their goal

Meriwether Group has had the opportunity to work with Pendleton Woolen Mills on several initiatives, including licensing and collaboration partnerships, corporate branding strategy and the evolution of womenswear.

How we helped

As partners who lock arms and sit side by side with founders and business leaders in companies large and small, Meriwether Group was able to introduce Pendleton to licensing partners and brand collaborators. Meriwether Group also played a critical role in creating the "one brand" strategy that resulted in Pendleton products being designed, merchandised and taken to market with a shared aesthetic, process and timeline.

The result

Our most notable collaboration resulted in a special edition Pendleton themed Airstream RV, bringing two heritage brands together to create an iconic product for consumers to enjoy. The brand and product strategy, to include womenswear, resulted in what can be found online and in Pendleton stores today—a cohesive design and product vision across all items offered.
