BioLounge was launched by Jeff Grimm, NP, in 2018. He was on a mission to fill the gaps that exist in the current healthcare system by delivering best-in-class medical services and products. He uses a precision medicine approach to extend healthspan by preventing or reversing chronic disease. His team has since expanded to include functional medicine nutritionists, a naturopathic physician and a cardiovascular specialist.
Their goal
Co-owners Jeff and Megan came to us with the best possible problem: The company was experiencing strong growth with several opportunities for expansion, but their bandwidth and internal processes and systems were a challenge. As very busy practitioners themselves, they asked Meriwether Group to help identify key initiatives and priorities to focus on as they moved into the next phase of growth.
How we helped
Using Meriwether Group’s proprietary North Star method, we created a strategic plan that addressed immediate, mid- and long-term goals. In this process, we conducted a full 360 of the business, including staff and patient interviews, as well as a national market analysis to determine best practices, including a full evaluation of services, products and pricing.
The result
With a clear strategy in place, BioLounge is in implementation mode. They are activating the plan through updated branding and communications and streamlining processes and services. This will enable them to scale while minimizing the overwhelm a small and quickly growing business often experiences.
