Our The Power of And

The Power of And

The Meriwether Group has a unique approach that utilizes “The Power of AND” and the “Whole Brain” approach. Traditionally, a person is told that he or she has to be either right brain or left brain focused. Right brain individuals focus on creativity and intuition, while left brain individuals focus on details and analyses. For example, conventional, left-brain-focused consulting groups are deep in analytics, logic, and numbers, but are often unable to connect with brand, consumers, and culture. Conventional, right-brain-focused marketing agencies are the converse, in that they are extremely creative and can connect with brand, consumers, and culture; however, they do not reflect on financial results or returns on investments. We do not believe that one should have to choose between the two, but rather that there needs to be analytics AND artistry, value AND meaning, left brain AND right brain. At Meriwether Group, we believe in “The Power of And” versus “The Tyranny of Or.” [1]
